Our Staff
Deb Kladivko
Executive Director
Deb became the Executive Director of Rebuilding Together Spartanburg in December of 2022 after a 43 year career as a University administrator. Throughout her career, Deb has been involved in community service efforts, serving on a variety of non-profit boards of directors. She also organized service trips for college students and accompanied them on these trips at locations throughout the southeast. She has always had a heart for service, so when the opportunity presented itself to work at Rebuilding Together Spartanburg, she eagerly embraced this new opportunity.
Jim Jones
Construction Coordinator
Jim has served with Christmas in Action since its inception in Spartanburg County, having volunteered on the very first Rebuild Day that was held. He has since served on the board of directors and in his current position on staff for the past 5 years. Jim has 25 years of experience as a general contractor and home builder and is a past president of the Home Builders Association of Greater Spartanburg. Jim's expertise and leadership in project planning ensures the high quality of our repair work and improvement of homeowner properties.
Pam Orr
Volunteer Coordinator
Pamela began volunteering as our Volunteer Coordinator in the summer of 2024. As a native ‘Spartanburger’ growing up in Boiling Springs, she learned the value of a small town community. It is not small anymore, but giving back to the community that had a hand in making her who she is today is important to her. She has a servant’s heart and Rebuilding Together affords her the opportunity to serve in a meaningful way. She says, “I can’t swing a hammer, but I can help organize those who can”.
Matt Risch
Project Manager
Matt joined the team in November 2025 as a Project Manager, bringing a distinctive background that combines nonprofit leadership with hands-on renovation experience. His interest in nonprofit work began early, as he worked alongside his father to help launch and operate two nonprofit organizations. Matt later earned an MBA from Clarkson University and held several finance-related roles until the birth of his first child in 2015. After becoming a father, he shifted his focus and started a home renovation business, which gave him greater flexibility to be present during his children’s formative years. Joining Rebuilding Together was a natural next step, allowing him to serve his community while applying his broad experience and skills for the greater good.
